Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Free costs $0 and needs no credit card. It covers one business location and up to 3 eligible Core-managed surfaces, subject to approval and availability.
What is a Core-managed surface?
A website or destination operated within The Local Internet where an approved Business Record can actually be published, accessed and tracked. A surface counts only when it is certified, covers your location's area and has room available.
Does paying guarantee placement on 20 sites?
No. 20 is the maximum number of eligible surfaces a plan can cover. Publication depends on geographic eligibility, verification, approval and actual surface capacity.
Are these 20 independent audiences?
No. Several surfaces may share the same directory system and overlapping audiences. We do not claim independent audiences or additional traffic.
What is the difference between Founding and Standard?
Founding Business ($9/month) is the planned introductory subscription rate. Standard Business ($29/month) is the planned regular subscription rate. Both are planned to cover one business location and up to 20 eligible Core-managed surfaces, subject to final eligibility and approved subscription terms. Neither is available to purchase yet.
What happens if fewer eligible surfaces are available?
Your record appears only on surfaces that are actually eligible for your location. Allowances are maximums, not promises. Additional Distribution blocks would only be useful once more eligible surfaces exist.
Are featured placements included?
No. Featured placements are a separate, optional Visibility & Growth item with limited inventory. They are not part of any subscription.
Can Free businesses purchase Visibility & Growth?
Free and paid businesses may both take part in Visibility & Growth when eligible. Paid Visibility & Growth options are still planned.
How do credits work?
Eligible credits may come from approved welcome awards, referrals, promotions or other authorized programs. Credits may be redeemed for eligible Visibility & Growth items, subject to approval and availability, and are charged only under the approved delivery and fulfillment rules. Credits do not guarantee approval or publication. Direct payment is not available today.
Can I pay directly instead of using credits?
Not yet. Direct payment is planned for eligible items once the payment system is approved and enabled.

How do Enterprise and Franchise subscriptions work?

No. Distribution covers eligible Core-managed surfaces within The Local Internet only. We do not promise distribution to third-party websites, search rankings, traffic, leads or sales.
